After the completion of an Environmental Assessment (EA), answers to an extended list of town comments and months of dialogue between Dover Greens and the Town of Dover Planning Board have led to the SEQR determination that the Dover Greens project will not have any significant adverse environmental, social or economic impact on the Town of Dover or its surrounding area.

The determination of non-significance or what is often termed a “negative declaration” was issued tonight at a public hearing at the Dover Town Hall.

Planning board expressed that Dover Greens project has shown a tremendous progress in the recent months, many of comments have been answered satisfactorily, which led them to make the resolution on SEQR determination.

Dover Greens team of staff and consultants are encouraged with the decision and expressed hope and commitment to the project and to the surrounding community.

Tonight’s determination on SEQR (State Environmental Quality Review) will now open doors for the site plan application and the securing of necessary permits needed to move forward with Phase I construction.
